Introducing the Texas First Responder Employee Benefit Interlocal
VFIS of Texas, in partnership with Coveler & Peeler and Smith Murdaugh Little & Bonham, is excited to introduce the Texas First Responder Employee Benefit Interlocal—a groundbreaking initiative designed to provide sustainable, high-quality employee benefits for Emergency Service Districts (ESDs) and affiliated first responder organizations.
Why Was This Interlocal Created?
✅ Stronger Together – By uniting ESDs under one large purchasing cooperative, we can leverage better rates and plan sustainability.
✅ Stable & Predictable Costs – Our goal is to align rate increases with inflation, ensuring long-term affordability.
✅ Continuity of Care – We prioritize coverage that allows first responders and their families to maintain their trusted healthcare providers.
✅ Wellness & Cancer Prevention – With a focus on proactive health management, we aim to reduce cancer risks and enhance overall wellness.
Who Can Participate?

📌 Affiliated Service Contractor Employees

Comprehensive Benefits Tailored for First Responders
