We officially celebrated Barbara and Glenn's official last day of work today.

As we enter 2023, we are excited (yet sad) to share that two of our leaders, Barbara Marzean and Glenn Hastings, have chosen to retire after more than 90 years (collectively) in the insurance industry. They have led this agency through many changes, challenges and success and they will both definitely be missed. We wish them well as they embark on the next chapter of their lives that will involve travel, relaxation and lots of time with their families.

WinStar will continue to operate with the same staff under the new leadership of President Stephanie Dew. Steph has been with the agency since 2010 and was previously the VP of Sales. We are confident that WinStar will continue to grow and flourish for many years to come.

VFIS is proud to announce that now all VFIS A&S policy holders will have access to their Member Family Assistance Program (MFAP). The MFAP is designed to support the health and wellness of first responder volunteers, employees and their workplace. Included services help enable responders to resolve personal and work-related issues to maintain productivity, health and wellness. See the program's details below.

• Designed for people in Emergency Services
  Members have access to trained professionals experienced in counseling emergency service personnel.
• Easy-to-use
  Support services are available in-person, over the phone, or through video conferencing.
• Prevention-focused
  Comprehensive and preventative approaches to health, well-being and productivity.

The Process:

• Automatically added to their policy at renewal
  Clients may choose to opt-out of the benefit, but by automatically adding the program, we can take advantage of lower premiums and better support for ESO community needs.
• Cost is $11.76 per person, per year
  The fee will be shown as a separate line item on their invoice as it is supported by an outside vendor rather than being a standard insurance product.

Services Include:

• In-person, online, telephonic and video coaching and counseling (for individuals, couples and families), convenience services and group therapy.
• First Responder support through a dedicated support line staffed by counselors with specialized first responder training, first-responder-specific counseling services and ongoing program promotion with content geared toward first responders.
